 Hi there
Through a lucky chance I found this site. My name is Horst Budweg, I am a german police officer and worked with the Military Police (287th MP-Co)from 1975 until 1990. In 2007 I will retire and then remember all those good times I have shared during my time with the MP´s, which I count to my best times within the police force. Anybody from the time of 1975 until 1990 knowing or remembering me don´t hesitate to send me an e-mail.
Regards to you all

I served in Berlin from June 1958 until June 1961.
Probably the best posting I ever had in 22 years service.
We wore Canadian Battle Dress, and all our Company vehicles were black in colour.
Troops curfew was 2359 hours and uniform HAD to be worn!
Units included The Royal Scots, The KOSB, The Welch Regiment, KRRC, York and Lancs, Border Regiment, 1st East Anglian Regiment, B Sqn 14/20th Hussars, 62 [Car] Company RASC, Berlin Field Sqn Royal Engineers etc.
Happy days, BUSY, but happy!!! |

Born and growing in Berlin I had loads of friends in the 80's among the allies.Had the best time of my life back than. Lost my heart to a British and ended up marrying an American. Been gone from 92-99.I dont like it anymore. Been making pics every year and sending them out to some friends which been stationed here. It breaks my and their heart to see what happened to places they knew.
Everyone I know will never forget. Berlin lost it's "feeling" forever.
We miss you all.
